Anesthesiology

The Anesthesiology of Wuxi Kaiyi Hospital is a key clinical specialty of our hospital. It has 4 professional anesthesiologists (including 1 chief physician, 1 attending physician, 2 residents and 1 full-time nurse anesthetist), 7 modernized clean operating rooms (2 100-level and 2 1,000-level rooms) and 2 DSA rooms. The department has 5 imported Draeger anesthesia machines, 2 Draeger ventilators, 11 multi-parameter monitors, 2 sets of video laryngoscopes, fiberoptic bronchoscopes, imported light wands, portable Philips ultrasound, autologous blood recovery machines, perioperative temperature protection machines and other advanced medical equipment. Fully-equipped anesthesia preparation rooms and anesthesia recovery rooms are equipped to effectively speed up the anesthesia process and reduce the incidence of serious complications during the recovery period. Ensuring the safety and comfort of surgical patients.

Service Scope

Capable of performing various clinical anesthesia tasks with high quality, such as: various intravertebral anesthesia (including epidural, lumbar anesthesia and combined anesthesia), various nerve blocks under ultrasound guidance, total intravenous anesthesia, general anesthesia by static inhalation, etc.. Also capable of performing various arteriovenous catheterization monitoring, controlled hypotension, anesthetic gas monitoring, etc.

To provide safe, painless, muscle relaxation, reasonable control of stress and avoidance of unpleasant memories for the smooth performance of all types of surgeries. ● Provide comprehensive, continuous and quantitative monitoring and regulation of the physiological functions of surgical patients in order to maintain the life safety of surgical patients

The department has extensive experience in perioperative anesthesia management and emergency resuscitation of various difficult and critical patients. Undertakes emergency intubation for the whole hospital.
